Byfuglien signs contract extension
It's official, the Winnipeg Jets have resigned Dustin Byfuglien to a five-year, $38 million extension. He was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. Byfuglien is 13th in league scoring among NHL Defencemen with 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points. He had 4-3-7 in the final 4 games of the team’s recently completed h0mestand before having his points streak snapped in Saturday’s 4-2 win at Colorado.
